Sorry guys, my laptop decided to hate me and died the other day. But I'll be back in a few days hopefully. :)

Dress me up

I went out shopping the other day, it felt weird to actually plan to go shopping instead of just ending up somewhere. Lately it seems the only times I buy something is when I'm out with my mom for coffee or some such and she has to return something or pick up a gift and I end up looking around.
It makes me sad how I can't actually wear anything that's currently in stores for another month or two since companies don't turn over seasons at a Canadian (or atleast Albertan pase), I still picked up some cute things anyways.

This was on sale at a really good price and I needed a bag that i didn't worry about getting dirty or wet and could also hold a change of clothes if I start dancing more again.
I wasn't sure about this at first but it has a cute retro vibe and looks great with black tights and patent heels.
This is probably my favorite buy, it's got a bubble hem and little ruffle detailing on the bust. I also picked up some grey suede flats, brown wide legged dress pants and some random craft supplies. Including fabric paint which I used to start revamping an old pair of converse I had laying around that never got worn.

Thumbs Up

Every winter I fork out tons of money on moisturizer, trying to find something that will stop my tzone from drying up during the cold months. I've had things that helped but nothing that fixed the problem completely, until now. It's not Clinique or Shiseido or any other fancy talked about product, It's The Body Shops Coconut Milk Lotion and $13.00 for a bottle that will last me the entire year.
I've been using it every morning after my shower for the past week or so and I love it, it's light, absorbs quickly and smells amazing.

Paint my toes

I'm loving the shoes at NDEUR SHOES over on etsy, but I can't justify over 200$ for something I know is a novelty item and in no way will turn into a classic piece. I've thought about painting canvas sneakers before, it would probably only require some fabric paint and a sealant of some sort, leather, on the other hand I'm not so sure about.

I'm singing in the rain

Alright maybe not, since it's currently -29 and we're expecting more snow for tonight, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy the cute rainy day wear that seems to be popping up everywhere I look.
Rain is probably my second favorite weather to snow, although I rarely dress for the ocassion, mostly because it's rare to get a few solid days of rain around here. Usually it's late night thunder storms or dreary grey days with an ocassionaly short burst of rain. So when we do get an onset two or three days of rain everyone looks like soiled rats. But I'm thinking this year I may invest in a pair of cute coloured rain boots and at least an umbrella if nothing else.

I've noticed a lot of red and yellow floating around, esspesically in MBMJ bags this season, and I've always loved pale purple, I'm hoping to incorporate those colours into my spring wardrobe this year, whenever that happens to be.

And as pointed out I never really placed a deadline to send in pictures, but just so everyone knows you still have awhile yet. Any pictures sent in before mid March will make it into the book. It may seem awhile away but I'm hoping to have, at the least fifty pictures, I think I'm currently around seven or eight so a long way to go still but hopefully I get there.
Please remember to contribute! it doesn't have to be anything huge an elaborate, any little bit helps. :)
